Hey guys! Happy Tuesday!
I gave you guys a sneak-peek into my potential CCR videos. Instead of going with something generic, I decided to make my CCR interesting and fun to make. I truly think this can reflect my creative thought process and illustrate what went through my head as I made this film. For my first CCR, I decided to not yap awkwardly while staring at a camera, but instead I will be answering questions... after I crashed my car.
So, as a way to insure everything goes smoothly, I made a script which I will present to you guys!
DOCTOR: Emma, you've lost a lot of blood. Answer this about your film, QUICKLY: How does your product use or challenge conventions, and how does it represent social groups or issues?!
EMMA: What?? Oh uh, I would say my film sticks to some drama sport conventions than the usual norm of that film. Typically, the athlete has the perfect life, with amazing grades and a strong bond with their family. (More elaboration)
DOCTOR: This is important, you're losing consciousness. But also that’s a really unique way of building an emotional connotation to your film.
DOCTOR: Okay now, how does your film engage viewers?
DOCTOR: Take a deep breath. (Inhale and exhale) And how would you get it out into the world and distribute this product?
EMMA: Realistically, to distribute it, I’d start by submitting it to festivals, then release it in small theaters and on streaming platforms like Netflix. The film festivals would be like Sundance and Tribeca. The share little known films that can make my film known in the media atmosphere. Then, I uploaded it to YouTube and Vimeo, allowing a larger audience to access it. Social media will help promote the film with teasers and behind-the-scenes content to build excitement. The aim is to connect emotionally with viewers and use both traditional and digital methods to reach a wide audience.
DOCTOR: That's a great approach—using festivals for credibility, online platforms for wider reach, and social media for interaction. Well, that's it you can go home now.
EMMA: What? That's it, you're not going to ask me any health questions? Hello???
